I love how the book is clean and simple, super easy to read and understand. Rebecca's style is well thought out, clear and easy to understand even for a novice photographer. It's also rich with content so even a more experienced photographer will feel enriched and inspired to take their photography to a new level.
Rebecca has also developed a set of fantastic actions called "Simple Fixes Actions" that go along with the book. What is an action you ask? Basically it's a shortcut to performing a series of photo-editing steps. Rebecca has created a recipe that when applied to a so-so photo can transform it into a photo that you can be proud of. I LOVE the actions!! The actions are created for both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements and are super easy to use.

Remembering to take pictures of the everyday things instead of just special occasions.
To get a a decent portrait or any picture of my 3 year old.
I have the hardest time getting a true smile out of my quirky nine year old son. He has a geat smile as long as the camera isn’t out.
My problem is that I never seem to have my camera with me when a terrific photo op comes up! I still usually have my iPhone, but my actual camera would be better.
I have four young children and love to capture the every day moments, but often think my shots are “meh”…I like how Rebecca can make a simple shot so expressive and meaningful. I struggle with that and often miss simple shots in favor of waiting for something better. I feel I am missing the forest for the trees sometimes.
The hardest part is just getting everyone to agree to have their picture taken!
The hardest thing for me is going un-noticed so I can get candid shots!
Remembering to actually take pictures….when I do, catching the expressions just right.
I have a hard time finding the right settings – still getting to know my DSLR and how to shoot in manual!
