Also, while you are on the Here's to Mom site… Better Homes and Gardens has shared some amazing fudge recipes with everyone who enrolls.
This is perfect for getting those neighbor gifts together! Not only do they have great recipes, they have some very valuable tips and tricks for making fudge. This came in very handy for me because I have to admit… I've never made fudge before!!! Gasp! But with the handy download from Better Homes and Gardens… I did it, and it was a breeze!
I headed off to Wal-Mart to get my ingredients for the fudge and to do a little Christmas shopping of my own. You can following me along on my shopping trip if you like by checking out my Google+ album. I love getting all of my baking ingredients at Wal-Mart. They have such a great selection and quality ingredients.
I decided to make the Latte Fudge recipe and it's divine! You can load it up with all kinds of goodies, but I like my fudge silky smooth. I was so excited when it turned out just the way I like it.
Now, I am all ready to package them up for my friends and neighbors in a simple but elegant goodie box.
To package it up, I placed the fudge in a simple take-out box that I bought at, layering it with wax paper to keep it from sticking together. Then I wrapped the box with some torn fabric. I used my Elmer's tape runner to secure it and then placed a wax seal on top for a dramatic effect. Then I tied it with some Divine Twine and added a fun wooden gift tag on the side and voila… you now have a super easy and beautiful neighbor gift!!
I can't wait to give these out to my friends and neighbors!! Head on over the Here's to Mom site and enroll your MasterCard today to receive a $20 gift card to treat yourself with and then grab the wonderful Fudge recipes along with their tips and tricks from Better Homes and Gardens! You'll LOVE them!!
