When I was a little girl I LOVED getting new dresses! There is just something special about a new dress, the way you can spin around and around and feel like one of those pretty ballerinas. As I got older the joy never faded. For the last several months I have been working with some amazingly talented people to develop a ~ New Dress ~ for WhipperBerry.
My inspiration of course came from Martha Stewart via Pinterest…
For some reason this picture spoke to me. I loved the colors and knew that this was
going to be the starting point for the new dress. My next step was to enlist the help from an incredibly talented friend… Suzanne from She Paperie to help design the tag line and some of the fun design elements like the new "WhipperBerry."
The next step… find an amazing website builder who is a pro at migrating Blogger blogs to WordPress. My knight is shining armour… Jason from Orange Geek. Jason and his wife Rachel did a fantastic job with the migration and have worked really hard to translate my ideas into the fabulous new "dress!"
I have to admit I was terrified to make the move to WordPress. I've heard horror stories about how people have lost large amounts of their readers because they didn't translate over. The idea of losing one of you guys made me sad. We've developed a good relationship you and I, and I would miss you terribly! From what I can tell. Everyone made it to the boat safely and I am so grateful for that.
As with any new fancy dress, we will need to make a few alterations. A nip here and a tuck there. We will be working on that for the next few days to fine tune things, so you may notice a few more changes.
