When I was a little girl I LOVED getting new dresses!  There is just something special about a new dress, the way you can spin around and around and feel like one of those pretty ballerinas.  As I got older the joy never faded.  For the last several months I have been working with some amazingly talented people to develop a ~ New Dress ~ for WhipperBerry.

Please excuse the mess, we are in the middle of a transformation to FABULOUS!!  For a few months now we have been working on a new look for WhipperBerry and this weekend is the big reveal!

I’m sure if you have been following WhipperBerry for anytime now, you know that I get stuck on things at times.  Case in point… our Red Velvet obsession a few months ago.  My new obsession… all the amazing variations that you can make with a basic cake mix and the lovely Cool Whip cream that I have fallen in love with.

Today’s variation is inspired by my trip to Paris a few years ago.  My family and I fell in love with the Nutella and banana crepes that you can find on almost any street corner in Paris.  I have to admit… we bought quite a few.  The other day I was thinking about the Black Cherry Poke Cake and I thought… wouldn’t that be tasty if I made a cake based on our favorite crepe, and here is what I came up with.

I am a girl who is all about the details, and good packaging is one of my first loves in life.  Even as a little girl I could feel it in my bones when I knew that something could be dressed up a little cuter or more sophisticated.  Now, that doesn’t mean that you run out and grab bright red lipstick and the loudest jewelry possible… sometimes {oh let’s face it, almost all the time} less is more.  I have a few loves in my packaging arsenal and one of my new loves are the Bity Bags from Whisker Graphics!
