Day two of my return and I come bearing gifts once again!! An old friend of mine Tami has come to offer $50 shop credit to her new Origami Owl Shop!! Please contact her if you are interested in joining the Origami Owl team! She'd make an awesome mentor ~ #4466; [email protected] or 919.412.3202
Have you heard of Origami Owl? It’s this great new company started by a FOURTEEN year old back in 2010. Isabella the founder of Origami Owl, came up with the idea to create see through lockets that people could customize to tell their story. BRILLIANT!! I wish I was that smart at fourteen.
Armed with great taste and $350 of her babysitting money that was matched by her parents, Isabelle set out to raise enough money to purchase a car when she turned 16. Little did she know that within two years, with help from her family, she has taken her fabulous idea and turned it into a thriving business. After a successful year with a mall kiosk, Isabella and her mother decided it would be more fun to take it the direct sales route. That way mothers and daughters can work together creating fun at home parties to share this fabulous product with their friends.

Tami sent me this beautiful locket that I had the opportunity to customize myself, and I LOVE it!! First of all, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. I’ve purchased jewelry from some other direct sales companies (who shall remain nameless) and once I received them, they felt like poorly made costume jewelry. I HATE that!! You’re paying high prices for really LOW quality items. Not with Origami Owl!
I selected the type of locket and chain that I wanted, then I had fun picking out the fun little items to put in the locket. These are the little trinkets that tell your story. I chose birthstones for my four kiddos, and the Eiffel Tower and sand dollar to remember some fabulous family trips that we’ve taken together. I capped it off with a hand stamped plate to place inside the locket that says “Love Life” a great daily reminder.
The great thing is that I can continue to customize it as I want. The locket isn’t sealed so you can change things out as you like. I love it!! To top it off they come in a cute little take-out container that I just adore…
Now for the goodies…Tami is offering one of you lucky guys a chance to win $50 worth of shop credit to her Origami Owl online shop!! All you have to do is follow the directions in the Rafflecopter box below…
Also, don’t forget to enter this week’s Silhouette CAMEO giveaway, you won’t want to miss that and the fun deals for this month, and… Friday Flair is returning TONIGHT!! You won’t want to miss that!!

I’d definitely add a word plate on mine, that says believe. That’s a very important word for me. Thanks for highlighting this woman… such a nice shop!

These lockets are the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I really would love to have one since it is a unique piece of jewelry. I think telling the story is a very creative idea. My son is adopted and I would love to use that to tell my story. When he was a toddler developing his language skills I taught him some basic sign language so we could communicate easier – I would definitely put the I Love You sign language charm since he’s now 10 and we still use it everyday! Ironically both of our birthdays are in Sept so I could use a Sept Heart Birthstone and a little boy Sept Birthstone. I’m undecided on a metal plate – probably Mom or LoveLife or Dream. Can you tell that I really want one of these???

Aw shucks! Got an error message saying the Rafflecopter application isn’t responding 🙁 I went to the Origami Owl website but I didn’t see this giveaway posted. I’ll keep trying though! Perhaps that’s why there are only 3 comments posted…and I thought I was just lucky lol Really wish I’d found Origami Owl Shop sooner b/c their products are SO special. I’ve bought MANY lockets, bracelets, keychains and charms from a company available in some Hallmark stores. However, these lockets are much, much, nicer and customizable. And YES the take-out container is adorable! I’m looking forward to making a lot of purchases from them!

So many cute things! I would make one for my Mom for a Christmas gift. She loves her dog, so I would use the Crystal Dog Bone, ♥ My Dog & the Crystal Paw using the LARGE SILVER LOCKET W/CRYSTALS. I’d like to have a plain plate if possible & pink & silver crystals (Her favorite colors) I really love how you can personalize these!

There is so many cute things! If I would have to pick anything, it would be birds! Lots and lots of them! I’ve loved birds since I was little, and now have two of my own! The vintage charms are super adorable! 😀

These are so sweet! I tend to get wrapped up in the unimportant things in life (work, stress, etc.) so I would love to have a special piece of jewelry that reminds me to focus on friends, family, and things that make me a better person.
Tamboliya says
I probably would have the “I love cats” charm/trinket in the locket.
Sarah Hull says
I would make the locket with the “blessed” plate and I would probably add my sons initials and birthstones.

I love the idea of a living locket so much! There are so many charms I would include – reading, the apple (I am training to be a teacher), the camera, the angel wing (for my friend who sadly died) and the star because I love stars so much!

I love these! I’m choosing the charms for 3 Christmas presents right now, to order later! Definitely the owl, apple, Eiffel Tower, and London Phone Booth for one. Elephant, initial, and birthstones for another. Cherries, apple, initial, and birthstones for the other. At least that’s what I am considering right now! All in the silver locket with crystals, and probably the love life silver plate.
Thanks for the chance to win … and for introducing me to this website!

Ohh! I would love to see my creation in a Medium Silver Locket, with a Silver Plate that says Inspire! And for the charms… first I’d love to have a Camera in mine, because I’m a photographer and I can possibly say without a doubt that its the best hobby/job ever! ( I can’t get enough of what I do :)) I think I would pick a Crown next – thanks to one of my favorite bands – The Cab. One of their song lyrics is, “Wear love like a Crown” and I think everyone should take that into advice. The next charm I would have is a Paw Print simply because I love all animals! I’d pick the Treble Clef because music is something that has always been there for me, and it’s helped saved my life and a lot of my friends lives. And last but not least, a October Heart Birthstone because I was born on the 6th of October! I love all the different options you guys give out on the website. I could get inspired so easily to make different necklaces here and there!
