Babycakes Cupcake Maker and Cookbook | Giveaway

This Giveaway is now Closed

As many of my friends may tell you… I have yet to meet a cupcake that I didn't love.   I have found the same to be true with the Babycakes Cupcake Maker! A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to play with one of these fun machines, and can I say… I've had a ball!

If you aren't familiar with the Babycakes Cupcake Maker… it's a counter top cupcake baker.  You can make all kinds of goodies, both sweet and savory in just minutes.

They even have a great new cookbook with 175 recipes penned by the fabulous ladies from the Plugged into Cooking Blog.  Kathy and Roxanne are two ladies with a ton of expreience and they have complied a fantastic collection of recipes for everyone to use with their new Babycakes Cupcake Maker. For this test drive I stuck to the sweet side of things, but I can't wait to try some savory bites for and upcoming event! Here is a sample of what I made…

I tested a couple of different recipes. One from scratch from the Babycakes cookbook, a S'mores cupcakes.  Then I tested my friend Janeen's Amazing Chocolate Cake recipe and some cornbread from a mix. Every single one of them turned out fantastic.  The S'mores cupcake was divine.  The marshmallow graham frosting dipped in a decadent chocolate ganache was a homerun!

Next, I wanted to try Janeen's Chocolate Cake. This cake is a hybrid of sorts.  You start with a cake mix and then add a few things.  This cake baked like a dream. Fluffy and moist and soooo easy with the Babycake! Total bonus that they bake in only SIX minutes.

With this one I experimented a bit with the container for the cake.  You can bake your cakes with or without a liner, but I wanted to see if it could handle the new trendy baking cups. Sure enough it worked like a charm.  The little mini cakes baked perfectly.  I topped these little ones with a basic buttercream and embellished with a little Divine Twine from Whisker Graphics.  How cute are they?

The Babycakes Cupcake Maker is so easy to use.  All you have to do is add your liner to the machine, and fill the liner 3/4 of the way full…

Close the lid and bake for 5-8 minutes. That's it! Take your cupcakes out to cool for a minute or two and in no time at all you have a tasty little treat.  The best part… Clean-up is a snap!  Thanks to its non-stick surface all you have to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth when you are done and that's it. No more scraping baked on cake batter off of your muffin tins!  I especially love how you don't have to heat up your oven for a quick little craving buster. It saves on energy. All-in-all, a great little machine to have around.  I highly recommend it! Both the Babycakes Cupcake Maker and the 175 Best Babycakes Recipes are available online or at Khol's and other retail stores.

But wait… it get's even better! The lovely people from Select Brands, the maker of Babycakes have generously offered one lucky WhipperBerry reader, their very own Babycakes Cupcake Maker along with the 175 Best Babycakes Cookbook!!!

Here is what you need to do to enter…

  • Leave a comment and tell us what kind of cupcakes you would like to make with your very own Babycakes Cupcake Maker.

For additional entries…

  • Follow Kathy and Roxanne's Plugged into Cooking Facebook page for all kinds of great cooking tips and tricks!

The giveaway will run through Sunday, November 13th with the winner announced on Monday, November 14th.

Good luck everyone!!  Even if you don't win… this would be a GREAT Christmas gift!!  The price is just right for Santa… it's only $29.99!  Just sayin'…
