For years, I have been dying to spruce up my yard a little bit, but it always seemed to fall further and further down the decor list. The inside of the house always took priority and the outside was always put on the back burner… Not this year!! For Mother's Day I decided to do a little shopping for myself with Kmart Outdoor living to spruce things up a bit.
The other day the little guy and I headed over to Kmart to check out their Outdoor Living (#KmartOutdoor) section to see what we could do to dress-up our boring yard and make it a place where people would love to gather and spend time together. In the end we decided on this LOVELY bistro bench that I fell head over heals for…
…along with a scrumptious garden chandelier, both from the Country living brand at Kmart.
Last night I had a lovely evening sitting out under the candle light with my honey, watching the kids play in the yard. I don't know why I waited so long to create a lovely spot in my yard just for me!! Yes, we have the slides and the Tonka trucks and the slip'n'slide… but this spot is just for me for Mother's Day and I LOVE it!!
