Giveaway | Elmer’s Craft & Tell

0 · Nov 17, 2011 · 161 Comments

Who doesn't love and excuse to party?  Even better… a crafty party?  Elmer's contacted me a while back and offered to sponsor a WhipperBerry craft night and I jumped on it.  Who wouldn't love to get together with some great creative friends and spend the night chatting, laughing and creating all kinds of fun goodies?  That's how our Craft and Tell began…

{I used my Elmer's tape runner to make the cute labels for our red velvet cake push-pops}

The sweet people at Elmer's sent a box FULL of all kinds of crafting supplies.  We had every kind of glue, glue dots, tape runners, paint pens, gel pens, scissors, X-ACTO knives, cutting mats… you name it, they sent it!!  A creative girls DREAM!

I gathered a few friends and all kinds of fun crafting supplies and we got to work.  We didn't have a plan… we wanted to see where Elmer's would take us, and boy did we have fun!! Free form crafting I would call it. We did however, decide that we wanted to stick with a Christmas theme and away we went.

We had decorative clothes pins made from scrapbook paper and our favorite Elmer's extra strength glue stick.

A couple of different garlands made using the Elmer's tape runner, Elmer's CraftBond Tacky Glue, X-ACTO cutting knives & cutting mats, and glitter… lots and lots of glitter! We LOVED the size of the 12×12 X-ACTO cutting mats.  It's just the right size!

My friend even thinned out some of the Elmer's Craft Bond Fabric & Paper Glue to decoupage some old book pages onto some glass ornaments. GENIUS!!

When I finally set down the camera… I used my Elmer's Tape Runner and the Craftbond Fabric & Paper Glue to make a fun garland of my own.  I used some of my Divine Twine from Whisker Graphics, some yarn & paper to make a whimsical Holiday garland with fun Divine Twine tassels on the ends.  It went perfect with the fun Coca-Cola fridge that my friend has in her dining room, so now our Diet Cokes have their very own Christmas decor!! LOVE IT!!

This was just the tip of the iceberg!!  Check out the mess we made…

Wowza, that's a whole lot of Elmer's crafting fun! Elmer's you are going to be an honored guest at all of our craft nights from now on!!

I bet you guys would love to have a fun crafting night of your own! Elmer's has generously offered TWO Elmer's/X-ACTO crafting kits to TWO lucky WhipperBerry friends.  Here's what they come armed with…

•       3 X-ACTO Retract-a-Blade knives
•       3 CraftBond Extra Strength Glue Sticks
•       3 CraftBond Tape Runners
•       3 Mini Bi-fold 9×12 Foam Board packs
•       1 Painters Markers pack
•       1 X-ACTO Decorative Edge Scissors pack
•       1 Circle Cutter
•       1 X-ACTO Self-Healing Mat
•       1 Glue Dots pack
•       2 Photo Corners packs (various colors)
•       1 Gel Pens pack
•       1 Tacky Glue bottle

All you have to do is add a couple of good friends, some fabulous crafting supplies & some tasty treats and you will have a great Craft & Tell night of your very own!!  Here is what you need to do to enter…

  • Visit Elmer's Facebook page and "like" them and say hello from WhipperBerry.  Return to WhipperBerry and leave a comment telling us what your craft night theme will be.

For extra enteries…

  • Follow Elmer's on Twitter.
  • Follow WhipperBerry.
  • Blog, Tweet or Facebook about the Giveaway. Here is an example…
  • I would LOVE to win the @elmers #craftandtell giveaway at @whipperberry!

I am already a FB fan of Elmer’s and I left a message there telling them Whipperberry sent me. My theme would be “patchwork quilt night” and I would have everyone bring their cache of scraps and we would make patchwork cards! Your party looked like it was SO MUCH FUN!! Would love to win and host an Elmer’s Craft & Tell night! Fingers are crossed! Thanks for the chance!
