My Updated Christmas Tree with #SearsRealCheer & Friday Flair

0 · Dec 8, 2011 · 22 Comments

A couple of weeks ago I told you guys about a fun shopping trip (click on the shopping trip link to see my Google+ shopping trip) that I had at Sears looking to give my tree a makeover. Well as promised here are some pictures of my newly made over tree…

Isn't it beautiful?  Everything on the tree, (except for the topper) was purchased at Sears for $150 including the beautiful tree skirt. Aren't the ornaments stunning on the tree?

The snowflakes and the Mercury glass acorn… I LOVE them! The breath taking beaded ball ornaments… I love it all!!

Love, love, LOVE the dragonflies! I have to admit I improvised on the topper.  I want to made something special for that at some point, so I used some flowers that I had on hand from Whippy Cake and Banner Boutique.

I even made some of my favorite winter tree ornaments that Craftberry Bush shared with us a few weeks ago.  I was able to get all of my supplies for the project at Sears along with everything else!  I LOVE that… one stop shop!!

I am so happy with how my tree turned out! What have you guys done this year?  What are your favorite ways to update your tree?

I want to thank #SearsRealCheer for giving me this opportunity to share my fun experience with you guys!! This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias. #CBias. Although the shop was sponsored by Sears, all of the ideas and opinions are my own.

Now it's Party Time!!!

It’s Friday Flair… Come show us what you've {Whipped-Up} this week!

Here are the sticky rules for our link party {you know rules are in place so that no one gets their feelings hurt or their eye poked out! So let’s play nice.}
  • ~ Please link up only your own projects, and link to the specific post, not your blog home page. No Etsy shops, round-ups or giveaways, please.
  •
  • ~ Please grab a WhipperBerry button from the sidebar and include it somewhere in the post you’re linking, or on your home page (a text link is great too!) Seriously, this helps out not only me but YOU too!!
  •
  • ~ Stay and mingle (remember, it’s a party!), and leave a couple comments for other guests!

    Thanks for hosting such a great linky party! Lala told me to make sure to hop over and introduce myself (I am SO bummed that we didn’t get to meet while we lived in Vegas).

    Hope you guys have a great weekend!
