I'm the oldest of four siblings. Before I had children I was a dental assistant. I'm an obsessive list writer. I love quiet, but rarely find it. …… I love chocolate, did I mention that already? I love garlic mashed potatoes, mint chocolate chip icecream & popcorn. Not at the same time, mind you.
…… I love to cook but hate cleaning up the mess afterwards. ……
 
I do enjoy time out with friends, but I'm a total homebody. My favorite place to be is at home, curled up on the couch in a comfy pair of yoga pants.

I'm a mean mom. I totally make my kids eat all their veggies, brush their teeth longer than 10 seconds and put on clean clothes at least every other day.

Sometimes I leave the dinner dishes in the sink overnight. Sometimes I don't put the lid on the toothpaste. Sometimes I'm grumpy and impossible and crave time to myself. …… I'm thankful for the opportunity I have to be a mother to four beautiful children. I'm thankful for a husband who knows just what I need, even better than I do sometimes. I'm thankful for the strength I find in my faith to face life's challenges. …… I love to blog. I especially love connecting with women around the world & exchanging stories of motherhood, the challenges of daily life, crafting & photography. Getting to know others who are different from myself, yet the same in so many ways. 🙂
