Friday Flair Link Party // Welcome to the weekend… It's finally FRIDAY!! The temperatures are heading up and we've been busy trying to stay cool. We had a full week with all kinds of fun projects and new adventures that you'll get to hear more about next week.

Hales a.k.a Lil'Whip got her drivers permit this week, and I am now officially a crazy, nervous wreck! I don't know how parents have done this before. I know people do. My parents did… But how is this really going to work. I feel like the minute she walked out of that DMV with that permit in hand, I was officially sending her out to the wolves. I'll get over this, we all do… hopefully. You know those commercials where the little 4 year old is sitting in the car with the father giving her instructions on how to drive… Yea, that's how I feel.

Friday Flair Link Party // It's Friday!! I have a feeling most of us are getting a slow start this morning after our 4th of July celebrations last night. We had a ball!  Let's just say that Lincoln didn't disappoint when it came to 4th of July. We had a fun BBQ with friends and then the sky went a blaze with fireworks. The whole city just lit up. I have always lived in states where most fireworks are illegal… not here and man oh man, people go nuts here. It was so fun!!

Friday Flair Link Party // Happy Friday friends!! This weekend is my favorite weekend of the year… It's my BIRTHDAY!! I think I'm going to celebrate on Saturday with a trip up to Omaha to Junkstock. Because, you know a girls can't ever have too much junk! I'm going to join my friend Heidi from Simply Bungalow and junk to my heart's content. Junkstock runs June 21-23 so, if you are anywhere close to Omaha… you need to head on over and check out the goods.
