Friday Flair Features // Gearing up for tomorrow's Friday Flair I thought I would show off some of last week stand out posts. I thought for sure that since I hadn't run Friday Flair for a few weeks that the party would be a bit of a bust, but you guys proved me wrong!! There were so many fun ideas posted. Friday Flair Link Party // Friday Flair has returned! Have you missed our little weekly party? I've decided to keep our weekly get together for this year with a few little changes. Friday Flair will actually post on Friday morning instead of Thursday night (I know, kind of a no brainer.) Also, I want to make everyone aware of the Friday Flair pin board on Pinterest. Every week I will go through everyone's posts and pin some of the stand out projects. I will have a Friday Flair follow-up post some weeks, but I can't guarantee a follow-up post every week. I hope that doesn't kill it for you… I will do my best!

Now let's get the Link Party Started

We’ve made it friends… The week is coming to a close and it’s time to celebrate with a little Friday Flair Link Party! I have to admit I am woefully behind on some of my Christmas  tasks.  I have been trying to take a picture of the family for over a week now so that I can design our Christmas card for this year.  So far, the weather and our schedule just hasn’t cooperated.  I tell ya, when the kiddos were younger life seemed to be so much easier. I may have to send out Valentines at this rate instead of Christmas cards.  Oh well!

One of our families favorites at this time of year is eggnog. That’s where this weeks inspiration photo comes from…

Let’s get the party started!!

Well, It’s (almost) FRIDAY… Time for Friday Flair! I just returned home from our 2nd Christmas party for the season and it’s only December 6th. These parties start earlier and earlier every year. Tomorrow night we are heading over to have a gingerbread house party with some new friends here in Lincoln…  We can’t wait!  The girls and I LOVE making gingerbread houses. My friend Christene (in Las Vegas) hosts a gingerbread making party the first weekend of December every year and I was soooo sad to miss it this year.  Here’s a look at my gingerbread house that I created last year, plus a great Gingerbread 101 post from Christene a couple of years ago. It’s an oldie but a goodie.

Our inspiration photo this week comes from Sweet Revelations.  It’s a stunning photograph of some dark chocolate peppermint cupcakes that look divine!

I don’t think you can get anymore perfect that that. Just look at that frosting, it’s looks like a little ruffle of silk… heavenly.
