I'm back with some details about the food for this great wedding I helped design last month.  First off, this was a huge event, so I had my work cut out for me.  I planned on feeding about 300 people, and in reality, I think more may have come, so I'm glad I over-planned, just to be safe.  Second, I'm a bit of a control freak, and I want to make sure everything is done just how I envision it, so I made almost everything myself. From all the design elements to the food, I did just about all of it; a massive undertaking.
I made the cookie dough first and let it sit in the fridge a few days.

A few months ago we had the amazing opportunity to guest post at The Idea Room and thought we should repost our wreath, just in case you missed it.  Even though it says it’s a spring wreath… you can make it year round!!

I have been desperately needing a new wreath for my front door.  My Valentine red burlap wreath was still up and yes, I know it’s MAY!  Time for something a little more spring and a lot more summer. Enter… some super cute sheets from Ross, a square wood frame, clear hair bands, hot glue and a little Lisa Leonard bling!

I had an awesome opportunity back in May to completely design and execute a wedding dessert table for my dear cousin's wedding.  I've been itching to show you, and I finally have the photos to share.

This table was many months in the making.  I started brainstorming clear back in November, pouring over magazines and books for the perfect inspiration.  My cousin is a totally fun, laid back, enjoy life kinda girl, and I wanted the table to speak to that part of her, while keeping it unique.

Talk about making a girls day!  Not too long ago Lifestyle crafts contacted me after seeing our pass around cards from Creative Estates…

… and asked if we would be interested in reviewing the Epic Letterpress machine. {we used Lifestyle Crafts Letterpress paper for the cards.} 

Heck YES!!  I have been  in love with the art of letterpress for years and have always wished that I could make my very own letterpress creations.
