Friday Flair Link Party // Herringbone Quilt Edition

Friday Flair Link Party // Happy Friday friends!! I'm coming to you live from sunny Colorado!! My husband had some business to do here this next week and since the kiddos are out of school I thought, why not tag along. Most of our family is here so it was a no brainer. Plus, I just adore Colorado! The state is beautiful and the shopping is divine! We arrived late last night and I can't wait to hit Old Glory, Patina, Snappy Quilts, Ikea and the list goes on and on!! If you know of some great Colorado finds let me know, I'm always looking for new cool stuff.

Now, on to our inspiration for this week. It actually comes to us from last week's Friday Flair. My Mom is a quilter (I am not) but I have a great love for quilts and an appreciation for those who have the skills to create these works of art. This photo from last week's link party just jumped out at me and I can't help but share. It comes from a beautiful site called Persia Lou…

Aren't they just stunning?! The fabric selections, the design, hours that went into these two quilts, my goodness they are stunning. Way to go Alexis!! You should go check out her site. She has amazing style AND a full tutorial on how to make these lovely quilts.

I want you guys to know that I REALLY appreciate you guys linking up to WhipperBerry's Friday Flair every week. You are so talented and work so hard on all of your projects and recipes and the fact that you take the time to come and party with me means the world. I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT to make with all of you my Friday Flair Friends… but it will have to wait until Monday, but it's a good one!!  For now…

Let's get the link party started!

Hey…I goofed!  Can you save the day by eliminating #46?  I somehow linked up a photo and not the post.  Silly me…I guess I can't keep up with my guests in conversation AND link up!  Haha!  Thanks!

Welcome to beautiful (and currently very windy!) Colorado! I love Old Glory and Patina…and if you're out near Red Rocks at all, hit up the Morrison Country Store. Cute little shop…even when I don't buy stuff there, I get ideas. Bonus: they have a "shack in the back" with all sorts of discounted stuff and next door is a 100-yr old white clapboard church that I stand and stare at every time I go by…

Welcome to Colorado!! I live right around the corner from Snappy Quilts!! You should also check out a fabric store called Fancy Tiger and Fabric Bliss!! They are fantastic! Oh, and while you are at Snappy Quilts you should go to The Original Pancake House 😉 You might as well….just sayin'. If you need any other Colorado tips let me know!!
