I love to bake all year round, but at Christmas I bake even more – and the majority of what I bake are ‘special’ Christmas cookies – by the dozens! I often go through 30 pound of butter for my Christmas baking because we give so much away! This year I found various old silver trays when I was thrift store shopping that I plan to use for my baking! My favorite cookie of all time is Whipped Shortbread. It just shatters and melts in your mouth and the simple buttery goodness is incomparable. Of course they don’t travel well, but they look pretty on a tray of goodies.
My grandma’s recipe is an ‘oldie but a goodie’ and you can find it here:

My husband is a small business owners so I make all of his regular clients, as well as family and friends, baskets of food for the Holidays.
