So, if you can’t tell I am a bit of a visual person. I LOVE looking at and creating beautiful things. However I am a bit of a scatter brain. I would find a picture or a recipe, fall in love and then never be able to find it again. I needed a virtual file cabinet for all of my “loves.” Then Pinterest walked into my life!
What is Pinterest you ask? It’s a social catalog service, basically a virtual pin board for all of your “loves.”

The way it works is, you have a “Pin It” button in your bookmarks bar, when you see something you like, you click in the button. The image can be from anywhere blogs, websites, other Pinterest members. You create boards for all different types of categories and voila you have instant image organization!
Now if I could just get the rest of my life as organized I would be one happy lady!!

OH my goodness. I need this. I have so many bookmarked pages in my browser and they are all jumbled together. It makes for a headache to go back and find a certain tutorial or for sharing ideas on my blog. THANK YOU for posting about pinterest!! I'm definitely going to check it out : )
This is EXACTLY what I need! Thanks for sharing. I do have a binder at home of recipes just from the internet, but it's getting a little full and I feel like it can be a waste of paper sometimes. This is a much better way to keep all these things organized!

Oh my Gosh! I have been wanting something like this! I have all my blogs in a reader, and as I am going through my posts, there are always several that I want to remember, but my only real option is Google Notebook – which I haven't exactly figured out yet – and it only really bookmarks the link. So if the link every went down….then I'd be outta luck! Thanks so much, can't wait to try this out.
