Ochre Love

0 · Jul 25, 2010 · 6 Comments

I have a tendency to spend quite a bit of time on sites that I have no business looking at.  Anthropologie.com is no exception.  Every girl needs a little self-indulgence though, right?  When I saw that Anthropologie was featuring ochre accents, my heart leaped for joy.  I’ve been pretty obsessive about the color lately, pouring over sites trying to find ochre pillows for my couches, a lamp for my console, and wallpaper for my eventual closet-turned-office space.  I may have to save my pennies for this fabulous wallpaper.

Just curious, How do you plan on putting it up if you do? All the walls, all the way up? Up the the chair rail? Just one wall? It seems rather bright and destracting for a place where you would need to consentrate.

Love the color and print. I'm like you, spending time where I can't afford it. But dreaming is good and sometimes you can figure out how to do it for a better price.

here's the inspiration for the desk space

Just because it's a small space, it shouldn't be too overwhelming. And my space is really similar to this one. I wouldn't do it in a full room, but it's GREAT for a small space like mine.
    Hope this helps!

Whitney I love that love that office space! And I think it would be divine in ochre! Green is my favorite color and ochre is lovely! I can't wait to see the finished product. Let me know if you need help!
