Bacon Ranch Deviled Eggs with Hidden Valley Ranch

47 · Mar 12, 2023 ·

Bacon Ranch Deviled Eggs //Deviled Eggs with Hidden Valley Ranch These might be the most delicious bacon ranch deviled eggs ever! I may be a bit biased but I know you’ll love them.

I’m a Hidden Valley Girl through and through.

I think my father made sure to add a little of the mix to my formula as an infant just to make sure it ran deep in my veins. Alright, maybe not. But, I can’t remember a childhood dinner with some form of Hidden Valley Ranch on the table. In the lean years when I was younger my Mom would mix it from the powdered mix and we always had some in the fridge.

I remember when she finally started buying the bottles of pre-made dressing, I thought we had finally made it. We were on easy street…

We had bottled Hidden Valley Ranch on the table. Isn’t it funny what little minds come up with. The reality, she was just ready to let Hidden Valley take over the mixing because she was a little busy.

Today, I have a daughter who would love to have Ranch as one of the major food groups so that she could have it with EVERYTHING. She would drink the stuff if allowed. When Hidden Valley asked if I would be interested in remixing a classic recipe with one of their Ranch products I thought in honor of my Dad and my sweet Em, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

I decided with Easter right around the corner, I should remix the classic Deviled Egg and add a bit of a ranch kick to the Easter staple. Here is my Bacon Ranch Deviled Egg remix.

Hanging Succulent Garden with International Delight

7 · Jul 10, 2013 · 28 Comments

This post brought to you by International Delight // I have to admit… I love my sweet drinks. There is nothing better than starting the day with a cup of iced Choffy or my favorite herbal tea with a splash of  International Delight creamer. Currently MY ID is the Cold Stone Sweet Cream… YUM!!!  Or, if I'm in a bolder mood, the Caramel Macchiato.

With this being part of my morning routine, I tend to go through a bit of creamer and therefore, I have quite a few bottles that are destined for the trash.  Recently, International Delight issued a challenge… Make something out of my used bottles. I really thought that was kind of a fun idea. Well… to be completely honest, I was a little befuddled. Using old containers as a craft muse hasn't really been part of my M.O. when it comes to creating for WhipperBerry.  I had to step back and think for a bit and then inspiration hit! I could make a hanging succulent garden with a few of the ID bottles and it would look fantastic.

I can't even tell you how tickled I was when I finished this project. Not only that but I came up with a few more that I may try. I mean seriously, what can you really do with an old plastic bottle? Who knew that it could be the perfect vehicle for such a fun idea. It's so simple, here is how you can make a hanging succulent garden of your very own…

transform your International Delights Creamer container into a hanging succulent garden

I used the large International Delight Bottle, removed the label and the lid and cut the top portion off with a craft knife.

Use a craft knife to create your garden container

Next, I cut openings into the side of the bottle as a fun way to add more succulents into my little garden container.

Dress-up your succulent container with DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paint

I used DecoArt Americana acrylic craft paint to add color to the plant containers. I used Sea Glass, and Sizzling Pink from the Neon Collection. The design was a little free form. I added some little stripes and some splashes of color on each container leaving some open areas to add more contrast.

Then, I added some small succulents that I found at Lowes with some pea gravel and soil designed for succulents. I even layered the soil and pea gravel to add a fun effect in the container that you see above, on the right. Once you have everything painted and planted then you have to decide… Will you leave them as is… or hang them?

I think they look great either way, and they add a fun pop of color to any room. Here is how they would look dressing up a table…

… Or, you can carefully poke some holes in the side and add some black and gold twine from Knot & Bow and hang them for a totally different look.

Carving Out Some Quiet Time with Quaker Epic Adventures

0 · Jun 6, 2013 ·

This post brought to you by Quaker // Quiet time, all to yourself… It's magical, it's restores and replenishes the soul. Once I became a Mom, it seems like those times are so rare. Especially now that my kiddos are out of school. My quiet time is now an even bigger luxury.

I have a rather large age gap between all of my kiddos…

family-2012-1541

… And I have to say, having older children around when you still have little ones is down right fabulous!!  Now that they are out of school the older girls can hang out with the younger ones while I run to the store to grab some groceries or when I need some supplies for the daily project. That time when I am in the car, by myself… Is priceless. It's not too long, but just enough to feel like myself again after a stressful day with the kiddos.

Even better is when I can sneak a treat in my bag on the way out the door like Quaker®  Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies…

Me time with Quaker Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

They come pre-packaged and are a perfect portion of chocolatey goodies with all the Quaker®  Oatmeal goodness inside.

Another way I like to carve out some time for myself, is by sneaking off into my backyard, to relax under the trees with a good book. I take a few minutes to have a sweet snack and enjoy whatever story I happen to be engrossed in at the time.

Quaker Chocolate Chip Cookies

Quaker® Chocolate Chip Cookies allow me to be indulgent while still providing the power of Quaker® oats to fuel me for whatever the rest of the day might hold.

Entertaining with Kettle Brand Chips // #TheRealKettleChips

1 · May 29, 2013 ·

This post brought to you by Kettle Brand Chips // When you think of summer what comes to mind? Barbecues, picnics, family gatherings, hot dogs, hamburgers and POTATO CHIPS. Am I right?

The barbecues and picnics are in full swing and those chip bowls are ready to be filled, but what are you going to fill them with, and how are you going to serve them?

Without a doubt, I have been a long time Kettle Brand Chips fan.  I know with Kettle Brand I am getting nothing but the best, all natural ingredients. Not only that, but Kettle Brand Potato Chips are the first potato chips that have been certified by the NonGMO Project. Nice job Kettle Brand!

Kettle Brand Chips

My favorite part of Kettle Brand Chips… You're going to laugh… I love folded chips. I know, I know… it's a little odd, but I truly do crave chips that are all folded up and are extra crispy. I have always found that the folded to flat ratio in the Kettle brand bag is rather high and I LOVE it!!

I have also found that when entertaining, potato chips are a fun and easy way to dress up a picnic or barbecue table. Here is a fun way to serve your Kettle Brand potato chips…

Summer Potato Chip Cones

I've created these printable cones that are a fun way to serve your guests and they are super easy to make.

WhipperBerry Printable Chip Cone

You can download the free printable from the box below, cut out the cone, roll it up and staple it together. place a small bit of tissue paper in the cone and then add your chips. It couldn't be easier. You're guests will be blown away!

What fun ways do you like to dress-up your Kettle Brand Potato Chips? Do you have any quirky chip tales? What camp are you in… flat or folded, GMO or NonGMO? I prefer mine without those pesky GMOs and extra folds please.
