Sparingly! LOL. I've used washi tape on my daughter's pencils so that they won't disappear when her friends (especially the guys) borrow them at school. I've used them to decorate the Box Tops collection box at school.
I think Washi tape is perfect for sticking up little reminders around the house, and it's also a nice touch on handmade cards or as labels for homemade jams, baked goods, etc.

I use Washi Tape for all kinds of things. I use them while making handmade greeting cards, I decorate items in my home that look plain jane. I also keep a cute roll at work to have "just in case".

My kids and I love this stuff! We actually haven't started using this for our own purposes yet. We're currently using it to make crafts for our annual trip to the Unschooler's Waterpark Gathering in Sandusky, Ohio. Every year they have a Kid's Marketplace where the kids set-up, host, make/bake/grow all the wares, sell/barter/dicker/trade, and handle all the break down. It's really inspiring to watch the kids do it all and it's great seeing them haggle for things- talk about a crash course in economics! When washi tape came out, my kids quickly landed on it as a great medium for us to use to make things to sell at Kid's Marketplace- if we won it would really help!
