Entertaining with Kettle Brand Chips // #TheRealKettleChips

1 · May 29, 2013 ·

This post brought to you by Kettle Brand Chips // When you think of summer what comes to mind? Barbecues, picnics, family gatherings, hot dogs, hamburgers and POTATO CHIPS. Am I right?

The barbecues and picnics are in full swing and those chip bowls are ready to be filled, but what are you going to fill them with, and how are you going to serve them?

Without a doubt, I have been a long time Kettle Brand Chips fan.  I know with Kettle Brand I am getting nothing but the best, all natural ingredients. Not only that, but Kettle Brand Potato Chips are the first potato chips that have been certified by the NonGMO Project. Nice job Kettle Brand!

Kettle Brand Chips

My favorite part of Kettle Brand Chips… You're going to laugh… I love folded chips. I know, I know… it's a little odd, but I truly do crave chips that are all folded up and are extra crispy. I have always found that the folded to flat ratio in the Kettle brand bag is rather high and I LOVE it!!

I have also found that when entertaining, potato chips are a fun and easy way to dress up a picnic or barbecue table. Here is a fun way to serve your Kettle Brand potato chips…

Summer Potato Chip Cones

I've created these printable cones that are a fun way to serve your guests and they are super easy to make.

WhipperBerry Printable Chip Cone

You can download the free printable from the box below, cut out the cone, roll it up and staple it together. place a small bit of tissue paper in the cone and then add your chips. It couldn't be easier. You're guests will be blown away!

What fun ways do you like to dress-up your Kettle Brand Potato Chips? Do you have any quirky chip tales? What camp are you in… flat or folded, GMO or NonGMO? I prefer mine without those pesky GMOs and extra folds please.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Kettle Brand. The opinions and text are all mine.

LDS Primary Classroom Signs

LDS Primary Classroom Signs // My friends, I’m back! I had a lovely holiday with my little family and enjoyed just spending some quite time with my kiddos while they were on vacation. We slept in, snuggled, shopped and worked on little projects together. A couple of them I will be sharing here in the next couple of days. First, I’ve had a little request… Saturday night I was sharing some of my projects I was working on for my church assignement on Instagram. A few of my friends asked if I would share some Primary classroom signs that I had created for our new classroom assignments at church here, and I am happy to share! I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormons) and our children’s program at church is called Primary. For those of you who are members of the church you will recognize the class names…

Primary Classroom Door Signs by WhipperBerry

How to Use the Door Signs

For our Primary, I printed a set of signs on cardstock and took them to have them laminated. The lamination is the beauty of the sign. You use a dry erase marker to list the teacher and classmembers on the sign. Any changes are super easy to make with just a quick addition with the dry erase marker. I also added some magnets to the back of the sign to easily attach them to our door frames at our building. Ours are metal, so the magnets work like a charm. You will have to check on your own building to see what application process will work the best. Below you will find the files to download for your own Primary…

I have also used a great printable from the lovely ladies at Eighteen25… It’s a great Articles of Faith printable punch card to help the kiddos learn their Articles of Faith.

4th of July Party Favor |Guest Post

7 · Jun 26, 2012 · 10 Comments

One of the reasons I fell in love with blogging was the getting to know some amazing people in the blogging community.  I love how we can share our talents with each other and get to know new friends. Every once in a while I love to showcase someone that I have found via Friday Flair and today's the day.  I ADORE Camille from Makoodle. She ALWAYS has some fantastic goodies to share, today is no different…

**UPDATE**

I emailed Camille from Makoodle and she said she found the cool tubes at her local craft store, but you can order them from several sellers on Etsy.

Hello Whipperberry friends! I am Camille from Makoodle and I'm excited to share a 4th of July idea and free printable with you.

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It is a day that the entire country throws a party and celebrates America. When I think of the 4th of July, I think of parades, barbeques, great food, family, and friends.

Patriotic Party Favor

I've seen these gumball tubes used as birthday party favors and thought it would be fun to make a patriotic party favor for America's birthday. After all, how can we throw a birthday party without a cute party favor?

When i first thought of "party favor" I thought chocolate. Who doesn't love to leave a party with chocolate? As I thought about it a little more and remembered how hot it gets in July, I decided I should pick something a little more heat friendly.

In addition to a great party favor, these red, white, and blue gumballs would be a great treat to give to your kids to enjoy during a Fourth of July parade.

Fourth of July Printable Tags

There are four different tag designs for you to use for your patriotic party favors. Download the free printable, then print it on card stock paper. Use a use a 2" circle or scallop craft punch to punch the design into a circle tag. Finally, use a paper punch to punch a hole in the top of the tag and string ribbon or bakers twine through the punched hole and tie it to your favor. You can also use these printable tags for cupcake toppers or anything else you want to give some extra Fourth of July flair.
