Oh my goodness, I NEED this!!!!  I was going to ask for this for my birthday, but I didn't think anyone would get it for me.  Now I don't need to ask, right? 😉  I have a couple of questions.  Obviously there is a big different in price between the Portrait and the Cameo.  What are the main differences?

My husband wants to make original t-shirt decals/iron-ons with the machine we choose, and I want to cut fabric.
Also, can you make your own shape from scratch with a program that comes with the machine, or even through Photoshop?  I have so many questions, but I'll hold off on those.  😉

I would go with the CAMEO then, you have more flexibility on size. If you get the Silhouette Designer Edition Software you can create all of your own images. It's fabulous!

My wife has so many projects in mind. I think she would put fabric applique on pillows. And cut vinyl wall decorations for kids room.
