Friday Flair Link Party //  Well, we've made it to another Friday! I've been doing double duty these last two weeks. During the day I am a mild mannered Mom / Blogger and in the evening I've been channeling my inner drama geek. My daughter Hales has been working hard on her school production of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and I've been helping with Lobby Decorations and a little set designing as well. Super Fun!! My sweet husband has been playing Mr. Mom at night with the other kiddos. Sweet Guy!! It's just so amazing to watch how hard these kiddos work to pull together such a fabulous show!

This next week, I'll will be traveling to Orrville, Ohio to visit the J.M. Smuckers Headquarters to do a little pre-holiday prep!

PrintI'm joining several talented bloggers to learn all about the Smuckers Family. We will be sharing our Holiday traditions and learning about some new ones that I'm sure will be fun to add to this Holiday season. I can't wait to share all the goodies with you next week.

Also, next week… I have a handful of aaaamazing giveaways that you won't want to miss. Make sure to be here bright and early on Monday morning. Don't forget to enter this week's Silhouette Portrait GIVEAWAY running right now, and take advantage of this month's aaaamazing Silhouette promotion. The Holidays are right around the corner… It's time to start stocking-up for all that Holiday crafting!!

Hi, Heather. I'm signed up for email updates, only got this a half hour ago, and the link party is closed. 🙁  Is there any way to get the emails earlier?

      Sheila-

I am so sorry! I don’t really have any control as to when my email update goes out. I can tell you,  I post the link Party on Friday Morning between 8-10 am central time. Due to time contraints on my part, I’ve had to limit the number of links to the party to 200. Once all the spots are full the link party closes. I actually go through all the links every week and I finally had to admit that I could only realisticly go through 200. I’m sorry!  You can always try for next week 😉

      kisses / heather

Bummer, It seems I missed the deadline for this link party by a few hours. Oh well, thanks for always hosting every week. Have a great weekend.

Not all holiday gifts need to be ooey gooey sweet. Savory holiday gifts are just as lovely, sometimes even more so. I personally have been off sugar for 3 months now and I’m really nervous for the holiday season to arrive. Having the house fill up with sweets is NOT what I’m wishing for this Christmas. I would LOVE to get one of these Ball® Sharing Jar soup mixes as a gift. Not only are they soothing to the soul, but they are also good for you as well. - WhipperBerry @ballcanning #soupinajar #printabletags #souprecipe

Soup Mix Sharing Jars

This year, I’m working on all kinds of fun gifts for the Holidays that will look spectacular gifted inside of a jar. One of my favorites is the White Chocolate Ginger Scone Mix in a jar. It’s really easy to put together a whole bunch of these gifts and really not expensive at all. It’s always a bonus to save a little money during the holidays. @ballcanning #giftsinajar #neighborgifts #teachergifts #sconeinajar

As much as we hate to admit it, cold and flu season is on its way. There is nothing more miserable than one of those lousy winter colds. What’s almost just as bad is watching someone you care for dealing with a cold or, Heaven forbid, the flu! I’m always looking for ways to help cheer them up and let them know that we love them and hope for their better health. That’s when I came up with this idea for a Cold and Flu Rescue Kit to share with those loved ones that are suffering. • WhipperBerry

Not to knock commercially prepared applesauce, but when you have the opportunity to enjoy homemade applesauce, you will know the difference. It’s sweet and tangy with the perfect texture. Not to mention the fact that it harmonizes well with many different notes on your palette AND, it’s super easy to make! #applesauce #applesaucerecipe #homemadeapplesauce

I was recently introduced to a simple Roasted Garlic and Roma tomato sauce recipe from Ball® Fresh Preserving that I have been dying to try. I knew it was going to be a GREAT base for my favorite Israeli Shakshuka dish and boy was I right. Come learn how to make this fabulous sauce for your family.
