WhipperCafe & Friday Flair | Link Party

0 · Jan 26, 2012 · 45 Comments

YAY… It's {almost} Friday!!! Have you come over and checked out the new diggs over at WhipperCafe {If you want to learn how to navigate through the community click here.} We had a ball chatting about all kinds of fun things yesterday. Today… Tracie from Cleverly Inspired will be chatting about Valentine Treats and I'm going to be hanging out at Blogging 101. Ellie from The Vanilla Bean Girls is going to be talking about fun kid spaces & Amanda Joy from Joy in the Jumble is gabbing about link parties!! Speaking of Link Parties… Raise your hand if you are ready for Friday Flair! Oh but first… we need this weeks inspiration picture.

I think it's offical… my love affair with donut making has begun! I love these coffee and donut cupcakes from Always Better with Butter. Don't they look fun.  I can't wait to share my recipe for my vanilla bean heart shaped donuts from the other day!

Before we get the party started I have a little programing note… I'm super excited to be attending the Craft and Hobby Association trade show {CHA} this weekend with a handful of aaaamazing bloggers.  I can't wait to share all the fun! It's located in Anihiem, California this time and the word on the street is we MAY be visiting a certin Mouse while we are there.  Can't wait to share.  While I'm gone, you may want to check back often… I have a special CHA deal coming your way from Silhouette!! Also, the Friday Flair features will post next Thursday rather than Sunday.  If you want to follow my CHA adventures you may want to follow my Twitter or Facebook feed along with a little Instagram fun! It's going to be quite the ride…

Thanks for hosting a great party as always, Heather!

Linked up a couple of projects, but I’m definitely most proud of my Anthro Trinket and Treasure Candlestick Knock-offs (#260).
    Their version?: $400
    Mine?: $5

    Yeah, I’m a little proud. : )

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

I hope I can learn to make those by my daughter’s birthday! Too cute! I like how they are tiny so you don’t feel too guilty woofing them down.;0) Love it. Very special.

Not all holiday gifts need to be ooey gooey sweet. Savory holiday gifts are just as lovely, sometimes even more so. I personally have been off sugar for 3 months now and I’m really nervous for the holiday season to arrive. Having the house fill up with sweets is NOT what I’m wishing for this Christmas. I would LOVE to get one of these Ball® Sharing Jar soup mixes as a gift. Not only are they soothing to the soul, but they are also good for you as well. - WhipperBerry @ballcanning #soupinajar #printabletags #souprecipe

Soup Mix Sharing Jars

This year, I’m working on all kinds of fun gifts for the Holidays that will look spectacular gifted inside of a jar. One of my favorites is the White Chocolate Ginger Scone Mix in a jar. It’s really easy to put together a whole bunch of these gifts and really not expensive at all. It’s always a bonus to save a little money during the holidays. @ballcanning #giftsinajar #neighborgifts #teachergifts #sconeinajar

White Chocolate Ginger Scone Mix In A Jar

As much as we hate to admit it, cold and flu season is on its way. There is nothing more miserable than one of those lousy winter colds. What’s almost just as bad is watching someone you care for dealing with a cold or, Heaven forbid, the flu! I’m always looking for ways to help cheer them up and let them know that we love them and hope for their better health. That’s when I came up with this idea for a Cold and Flu Rescue Kit to share with those loved ones that are suffering. • WhipperBerry

Cold and Flu Rescue Kit

Not to knock commercially prepared applesauce, but when you have the opportunity to enjoy homemade applesauce, you will know the difference. It’s sweet and tangy with the perfect texture. Not to mention the fact that it harmonizes well with many different notes on your palette AND, it’s super easy to make! #applesauce #applesaucerecipe #homemadeapplesauce

Maple Applesauce Recipe + Maple Applesauce Overnight Oatmeal Recipe

I was recently introduced to a simple Roasted Garlic and Roma tomato sauce recipe from Ball® Fresh Preserving that I have been dying to try. I knew it was going to be a GREAT base for my favorite Israeli Shakshuka dish and boy was I right. Come learn how to make this fabulous sauce for your family.
