Who I am…
Hello everyone!
I'm Sumo! Well, my real name is Summer, but my husband nicknamed me Sumo when we were dating. (Yes, I still married him!)
It's a blog I started to share my crafting and creating. I also like to host giveaways, feature other bloggers, and maybe share some crazy ramblings about how much I love Diet Coke, or my relationships with Shirley and Lucy (my sewing machine and Silhouette). I started sewing about a year and a half ago, and I haven't looked back since! It's probably my favorite creative past time now, especially since I've got two little girls and a third one on the way!
Let me share a few things about myself.
I have a slight obsession with Diet Coke and candy corn.
I'd way rather fabric shop than shoe shop.
I like the smell of Scotch tape and lipstick. (Weird, I know.)
I much prefer texting to talking on the phone in general.
I'm a total bookworm, especially for historical fiction.
I grew up in a small town in Oregon, but live in Utah now.
I love crime television shows.
I thrive on routines and schedules.
I'm a morning person, and prefer to get up and get my day started instead of sleeping in.
I love musicals.
I have to do something creative every day.
I like making lists, and crossing things off.
I play piano, and it's one of the few things I claim to do well.
I have two (almost three) beautiful children who are my everything.
I am married to my best friend, who is also my everything.
