Lest you thought I forgot… I have not!  I’m just running on island time these days.  Mike and I are having a ball here on Kauai just enjoying the island flow of things.  We’ve been eating our weight in Ahi Poke and enjoying the sights and smells the island has to share.  I’ve been documenting everything on Instagram if you are interested in following along. I have to say, I’m going to be a little sad tomorrow, now that the Olympics are over. Our family has totally gotten into the Olympic spirit this year and it’s been so fun! We have been watching the closing ceremonies tonight and I just had the pleasure of explaining to Hales that Victoria Beckham was Posh Spice long before Mr. Beckham ever came around, it was kind of funny.

Well, happy Monday everyone!! This week is going to be crazy and it’s only Monday morning and my head is already spinning. We have family coming into town this week for Em’s baptism this weekend. I JUST found out that I get to join my sweet husband in Hawaii for nine days in a couple of weeks! The poor guy has to work over there for three weeks in August and eeeeek, I get to join him over there for a little bit.  We’re starting to gear up for school and all that kind of fun stuff, and I have several projects I need to finish up before any of that happens…Wow, I think I need a nap now!
