Almost eight years ago my family moved from Colorado to Nevada. When we moved, we were leaving the comforts of home and family and braving the wilds of Las Vegas on our own. A great adventure, but leaving family was hard. Not having babysitters close by… a pain, but we could figure something out. The thing I missed the most were fun family holiday gatherings. For so many years I was under the impression that the magic of Thanksgiving and Christmas was truly MAGIC! I was grossly mistaken!!! The MAGIC of the holidays is spelled… MOM!
Now that my Mom is hundreds of miles away, it's all up to me to create the magic for my family. I have been gathering ideas for this year's Thanksgiving Feast and I thought I would share some of the goodies with you.
