Ever since switching over to WordPress, I've noticed that many people don't have a cute little picture next to their comments.  So… I thought I would give a little tutorial on how to get your own Gravatar {that is if you want one.}  I would love to see your sweet happy faces, so we can feel like more of a community here at WhipperBerry, rather than me just talking to blank faces.  You know what I'm talking about…

That picture is called a Avatar.  It is linked to your email address so that anytime you use that email address when commenting, your Avatar will show up with the comment. Here is how you get one…

Friday Flair Features and a Winner!!

I'm having a bit of a slow morning this morning {well, almost afternoon!} I just returned home after a fabulous weekend in San Diego at Blogher with some amazing friends.  I don't know about you, but when I get home… I crash!!!  I just want to eat my kiddos right up and snuggle with my sweetie. Hence the late feature post… But, before we do that we have a winner to announce!!

Some Fun News

I'm off to sunny San Diego, California… Road trippin' it with Shelley from House of Smiths and Jen from Tatertots & Jell-o, on our way to Blogher wonderland.  How fun is this trip going to be!!  Yea… pinching myself every few mintues just to make sure I'm not dreaming this whole crazy trip up in my head. I promise to document, document, document!

Yep, your's truly is the new Food Editor for that fabulous site!!  Today is my very first post and I thought I would kick it off with a classic WhipperBerry recipe… White Chocolate Red Velvet Cookies. I am planning to kick off my new gig with a few of our WhipperBerry favorites and then I will post all kinds fun new recipes over there everything Thursday.  Don't worry… we'll still have some fantastic food ideas here on WhipperBerry as well.  Come on over and say hello… I'm kind of feeling like the new girl at school who could use a few warm smiles to help her feel more at home!
