I’m sure if you have been following WhipperBerry for anytime now, you know that I get stuck on things at times.  Case in point… our Red Velvet obsession a few months ago.  My new obsession… all the amazing variations that you can make with a basic cake mix and the lovely Cool Whip cream that I have fallen in love with.

Today’s variation is inspired by my trip to Paris a few years ago.  My family and I fell in love with the Nutella and banana crepes that you can find on almost any street corner in Paris.  I have to admit… we bought quite a few.  The other day I was thinking about the Black Cherry Poke Cake and I thought… wouldn’t that be tasty if I made a cake based on our favorite crepe, and here is what I came up with.

I am a girl who is all about the details, and good packaging is one of my first loves in life.  Even as a little girl I could feel it in my bones when I knew that something could be dressed up a little cuter or more sophisticated.  Now, that doesn’t mean that you run out and grab bright red lipstick and the loudest jewelry possible… sometimes {oh let’s face it, almost all the time} less is more.  I have a few loves in my packaging arsenal and one of my new loves are the Bity Bags from Whisker Graphics!

Did you ever have a friend that no matter what you are doing, could light up a room? You could be peeling potatoes in the rain and she looks beautiful!Not only does she look good but she cracks all the best jokes and don’t even get me started on her laugh… it’s truly infectious.  That’s Kristin from 3 Little Birds Boutique.  She’s one of those people who you would like with you if ever stranded on a desert island.  She has one of the happy, can-do attitudes that I LOVE!!

Giddy would only begin to describe how I felt when Lifestyle Crafts asked if I could test drive some of their products from their new line called Possibilities. Giddy I say!! 

The Possibilities line is launching at CHA {the Craft & Hobby trade show} this week.  Maybe someday I can go and take in all of the amazing new products in person.  I promise to take ya’ll with me!!
