eeeek, it's {almost} Friday… Not only that, it's a holiday weekend! We are celebrating together with my Father-in-law and my husbands twin sister. They are traveling to Las Vegas from Colorado to meet our new nephew who was born back in March and celebrating my spunky Em's 8th Birthday. Boy does time fly! Food and fun are definitely in the plan for the weekend.

What are your plans for the three day weekend? Barbeque with friends, home DIY marathon or are you going to kick back and relax with a good book? We would ALL love to hear what you're up to.

Confession time… I am sorely behind in Friday Flair features.  I'm sure no one is keeping track, but I am.  I PROMISE I am going to catch up here soon.  I'm telling ya this end of the school year business is killing me this year.  Everywhere I turn something else is going on that we either have to attend or create some project for.  I am sooo ready for school to be done in a couple of weeks! With that said, I beg forgiveness and then say… Let's PARTY!!

I have been sooooo excited to share my Fathers Day printable idea with you guys!!  It’s simple, easy and very inexpensive…

“Pop you put the FIZZ in my life!”

Now I have to admit, I am a soda lover!!  However, I do not love it for the sugar… I love it for the FIZZ!  The bubbles that dance all over your mouth.  They make me happy.  Some days that is all it takes to make my day… a good fresh, straight from the fountain Diet Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper.  Those are my all time faves, because you know a girl need variety in life. 

Anyway… like the bubbles in my pop, my Pop brings so much joy in my life!

Here is the fun free printable for you to share some of the love with your POP!

I layered it with a fun red polka-dot scrapbook paper to give it they little extra wowza… tie with some baker’s twine from Divine Twine courtesy of Whisker Graphics and voila… add it to your POP’s favorite fizzy beverage and you’re good as gold!

Happy Monday everyone!! I have a couple of fun giveaways this week, I'm so excited!!  This first is one that I am thrilled to share with you.  Many of you may be aware of Basic Grey the amazing design company that sells stylish paper products, scrapbooking & craft supplies.  Did you know that they sell even more than that? They sent me one of their swaddling cloth sets for me to check out and I just fell in love. I've been a fan of the 100% cotton muslins blankets that are so popular right now with Moms. Guess what… It's {almost} FRIDAY!!! I've been madly working on my living room makeover and hope to have it camera ready soon.  Can't wait to show it off.  I'm still waiting on a few items that I've ordered online and then we should be good.  It's all in the details, right?  I've been having a ball pinning my heart out for the Homes.com Spring into the Dream  Pinterest Challenge this week.  Have you come to join the party yet?  You could win $500 just for creating a fun pinboard like mine.
