With the crafting season in full swing everyone is looking for great new ideas to share with family and friends. I’ve talked about them before but I have fallen in love with the Styled by Tori line of fashion accessories. I have all kinds of ideas up my sleeve right now for the holidays, but I thought I would share some of my favorite ideas that I’ve found so far…

With Halloween so close I thought I would place this one first, you can file it away for next year. Amy from Positively Splendid used a lovely piece from the Styled by Tori collection to create this fun spider web pillow.

Amy also created these felt poppies and lace brooches that I just ADORE!!

Heidi from Sew.Craft.Create created this whole nautical set with Styled by Tori and it’s just divine!

I love this bracelet from Christina at Intimate Weddings… Truly a classic piece.

Christina also made these stylish Styled by Tori napkin rings that would be PERFECT for your Thanksgiving tables.

I’ve always admired Megan from Brassy Apple’s style and she takes it to a new level with her Styled by Tori creations. Her cluster brooch and cuff bracelets would dress any ensemble up!

Cute Little Spooky Spiders for Halloween Decor

Looking for a fun, last minute Halloween idea? Need something simple that takes less than a minute to make? How about a cute little spooky spider to add to your Halloween décor…

For a few years I’ve seen those metal spider leg cupcake holders that you use to add a little creepy crawly to your Halloween cupcakes and thought… It would be so fun to make something with those cute legs rather than just a cupcake. Then it hit me… why not take a black Christmas ornament, turn it upside down onto the legs and add some googlie eyes. How cute will that be. Here’s what you will need…

Black Christmas ornaments (I used the glitter kind, but it doesn’t matter)
Spider cupcake holders
Large self-adhesive google eyes

All you have to do in invert the Christmas ornament onto the cupcake holder like this…

No need to glue them together if you don’t want. I decided that I wanted to keep my options open, so I didn’t glue them together. I have commitment issues. Then you can place the eyes wherever you see fit and voila, your done! Now all you have to do is find some fun spots to place these cute little creepy crawlies.

I used mine in this year’s Halloween mantle and just fell in love with these little buggers. Take that… a Halloween craft in less than a minute! What’s your favorite quickie holiday craft?

Friday Flair Link Party // Witches Tea Edition

Eeeeek, it’s that time again… Time for Friday Flair!! I have to admit I’m kind of falling in love with Halloween this year. I’ve never been a big fan. I’m one of those mom’s that would steer clear of the Halloween section at the store when my kiddos were with me because I just hated all the gore. I’m finally realizing that Halloween can be just a beautiful as any other holiday. You don’t always need the blood and guts to create a spooky feel. Case in point… Loralee Lewis’ Wicked Witches Tea.

Time for Friday Flair

Jewelry Organizer with Styled by Tori

I’m one of those girls who just can’t leave well enough alone when something could us a little dressing up. That’s why I am soooo in love with the entire line of Styled by Tori products!! They make it so easy to dress-up yourself or dress-up a fun project that you are working on.

I decided that I needed to “dress-up” a fun jewelry organizer for all of my Styled by Tori goodies. I picked a couple of pieces that I thought would look great with a plain jane hanger that I found at Pick your Plum.

I grabbed my trusty E-6000 and glued the two pieces together. I let them cure overnight just to make sure the bond was secure. Then I used the E-6000 to glue the newly created cluster directly to the plain jane hanger…

How simple is that. Now I have the perfect place to display my Styled by Tori creations that I use to “dress-up” ME!!

I simply adore every single collection in the Styled by Tori family. Each one has it’s own look and feel and are so fun to work with. You can find the Styled by Tori line at Michaels (by the way, October is jewelry month at Michaels some great deals out there) and Jo-Ann's.
