{Lifestyle Crafts} Halloween Goodies and Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie in a Jar

0 · Sep 6, 2011 · 10 Comments

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor Day yesterday. We had a ball swimming and playing games with some great friends!

With Labor Day now come and gone it's time to start getting ready for one of my favorite times of the year… AUTUMN!  Lifestyle Crafts is launching their new line of Holiday die cuts and I'm so excited to give you a sneak peak…

I made this fun Halloween treat container using the cute skull and cross bones {made from the turkey leg die cut} along with the Spooked Printing Plates using the Epic Letterpress.  Isn't it fun?

I took a pint size frozen dessert container…

… and spray painted the outside with black paint. Then I took some orange acrylic paint and dipped the outer rim in the paint and then carefully let it drip down the sides to create the the spooky wax effect.

Then, I affixed the skull and cross bones that I created using letterpress paper to the side of the container.  Now all you have to do is fill it with your favorite Halloween treat and you'll have the cutest goodies {or spookiest} on the block!!

Next, I created a fun treat for our autumn tables…

… decorated with the fall die cuts soon to be released at Lifestyle Crafts.  This is a super easy and tasty recipe for Icebox Pumpkin Pie in a Jar. This is a no bake pumpkin pie recipe that I will share later this week.  Aren't the jars cute?  Wouldn't they be a fun addition to your Thanksgiving table?

All you have to do is visit Lifestyle Crafts site and check out all of their fun Holiday tools.  They really make creating for the Holidays so fun!!

    Hi Heather!

I love the cross and bones you did! I was trying so hard to figure out if those dies were in the release, and they are! It’s the turkey leg!

    So creative, you are!

    Love it! Very cute! 🙂
